What do you want YOUR digital footprint to look like?
I know I’m not ready to hit the ground running and seamlessly integrate the use of iPads into my classroom makeup, but I am ready to START.
I made some promises to my students on Friday. I promised that I will be patient if they are too. I promised that together we will try things that will fail as well as things that will succeed. I promised that we would be going on this new adventure together!

Laura,
Sounds like you are ahead of the game! You’ve set expectations, goals, and know you’ll be frustrated at times! But I have a strong feeling you and your students will settle in just fine – you know they’ll be teaching YOU, for sure!
Enjoy the journey, and be sure to get plenty of sleep!

Ahh, sleep. Yes, I will need that! Thanks for the well wishes!

There is no need to “hit the ground running” on day 1. You have prepared our class well and let them know it will be learning exercise with some bumps along the way. Good luck and have fun with it.

Thanks for the luck. I’m excited to see how it goes!

Hi Laura,
Thanks for sharing about your about-to-begin iPad journey. I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
We are still to start the journey but staff at my school were given iPads to start ‘playing’ with recently.

All the best on the journey.

It has been a great but exhausting week. I have definitely been on my toes and am glad the weekend is coming to give me some time to reflect. Thanks for the comment. I will check out your post.

Don’t fool yourself… you’re more than ready. Looking forward to see it play out both here and from time to time in the classroom. Cheers!

It’s been a great week – an exciting and smooth transition! I can’t wait until I have the time and energy to blog about some of the great things we’ve already done.
